Gate-piers and gates. Circa l836-75. Tall cast-iron double gates and pair of large cast-iron gate-piers. The gates have ornamented bars and dogbars while the large cast-iron piers are unusually good, especially in their Gothic detailing. The piers are each stamped HILL & SMITH, DUDLEY IRONWORKS, NR DUDLEY & 88 QUEEN VICTORIA STREET, LONDON'.
