Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, constructed with a timber frame and plaster, and featuring a plain tile roof from the 19th century. The building has a T-shaped plan and is single-storey with an attic. The front of the house has a plank door on the left, flanked by 19th-century two-light casement windows. Above the door, there is a large timber-framed dormer that also contains a 19th-century two-light casement. To the right, there is another similar casement window beneath a chamfered bressumer, with a matching casement in the gable above a chamfered jettied tie beam. The right side of the building has two late 19th-century dormers and a single-storey wing at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
