Description

Endleigh is a house dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. It is a timber-frame building, now plastered and colourwashed. The roof is covered in plain tiles. The house has two storeys and a three-window front. The central doorway has a six-panelled and fielded door, with the upper four panels glazed, set within a reeded doorcase featuring a reeded pulvinated frieze and a hood. To either side of the door are late 18th-century bow windows with flat opening casements. The first floor has three late 18th-century, two-light casements. A gabled roof has an internal gable-end stack on the north side. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of architectural interest.
