Description
Bedingfield Lodge, formerly known as Bedingfield Arms and cottages Nos 1 and 2, is a house dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the late 20th century. It features a rendered and colourwashed timber frame set on a tarred brick plinth, topped with a slate roof. The building has one storey and a dormer attic. The entrance includes a late 20th-century door, with two 2-light 19th-century casements to the left that are paired to appear as a single window. To the right of the door is one late 20th-century top-hung casement. The roof is gabled, and there is a gabled dormer fitted with a 2-light late 20th-century casement. A ridge stack is located to the right of the centre, and there is a late 20th-century lean-to addition against the east gable. Inside, the exposed studs of the timber frame are visible.
