Formerly known as: Bedingfield Arms and cottages Nos 1 and 2 adjoining LAMBSETH STREET. Public house, converted to private house late C20. Early C17 timber frame, mid C19 brick skin. Slate roofs. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys. Gables face south and west, each a single-window range. West gable lit through a segment-headed fixed window to each floor, with glazing bars. Doorway to right. South gable with a ground-floor 3/6 horned sash under segmental head. 3-light first-floor casement under segmental arch. Gabled roofs. Stack on front slope of south gable. Single-storey late C19 shop extension with display window and door beneath slate gabled roof abuts north gable end. INTERIOR: timber frame with jowled principal posts and tension braces at corners. Ground-floor west room with blocked 3-light ovolo-moulded mullioned window. Stack pierced for passageway. First floor with some early C17 mason's mitre panelling. Early C17 clasped purlin roof.
