Description
This building is a barn located 35 metres east of Hungerford Mill, dating from the 18th century. It was originally part of Hungerford Farm and has been used as a tannery and is now a store. The barn is constructed from stone rubble with a weatherboarded timber frame and has a roof covered in plain tiles. It has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys high. The exterior features three bays separated by eight large full-height rubble piers, with weatherboarding filling the spaces between the piers and covering the gable ends. There is a boarded loft door on the left side, and the ground storey includes open cart bays situated between the piers. The interior has not been inspected.
