Description
This building is a barn located to the south-west of The Bury, dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, standing on a brick plinth, with a roof covered in corrugated iron sheeting. The barn is one storey high and consists of five bays, with a floor inserted in the three northern bays, likely during the 18th century. There is an outshut on the southern side. Additionally, there is a weatherboarded section with a tiled roof, which is also one storey high and has three bays. The end bay of this section is constructed of brickwork and features a large chimney, a fireplace, a bread oven, and a copper.
