Description

Bythorne Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the 18th century. It is timber framed and rendered, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring sliding casement windows on the first floor. There is a small canopy over the main entrance doorway, and an axial chimney stack with an inglenook fireplace is present, along with a second chimney stack at the northern end of the building. At the rear, there is a later two-storey addition that is weatherboarded, as well as a small timber framed and weatherboarded barn.
