Description
The Bury is a building likely dating from the first half of the 16th century, with the date 1677 inscribed on the rear entrance porch. It features a timber frame with plastering and a tiled roof, and consists of two storeys and attics. There is a cross wing at the south-east end, with the gable projecting on the north-west side. The building has a mix of two and three-light leaded casements, along with one gabled dormer on the north-west elevation of the main block. It is topped by three chimney stacks, each with three square shafts set diagonally. Inside, there is a notable fireplace and a staircase of special interest.
