Description
The Old Forge and Outbuilding to the South-East is a 17th century range of buildings located in Brent Pelham. The structures are timber framed, weatherboarded, and rendered, topped with a thatched roof that covers all sections. Originally, this was a single-storey cottage with attics and a two-storey cottage. The two-storey section consists of three bays and has an axial chimney stack, while the single-storey section features two bays, an external gable chimney stack, and an eyebrow dormer. Casement windows are present throughout the buildings. The range includes 19th century timber framed and weatherboarded outbuildings that were formerly used as a forge. No notable interior features remain.
