Description

This building is a barn, now used as a store, located 5 metres south of Hill Farm House. It dates from the 16th century and features a timber frame with sandstone rubble walls on the right end, while the left end is clad in weatherboard. The roof is plain tiled and half-hipped. The barn has three framed bays that open to the side, with a corrugated iron catslide extension supported by posts. Inside, there is a queen-post roof with end windbracing and jowled posts. Additionally, there is a single-storey brick shed at one end. At the time of the last survey, the barn was in a derelict condition.
