Description

This building is a barn or hide store located 10 yards northeast of The Old Tannery, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It features a four-and-a-half-bay timber frame with a Queen post truss and has an upper floor that was inserted, supported by a beam dated 1779. The roof is half-hipped and covered with tiles. The walls are partly boarded, with some brickwork on the ground floor, and there are louvres included for the drying of hides.
