Description

The Schoolhouse is a mid-19th century Gothic-style dwelling that is L-shaped and consists of one storey. It features a tiled roof with scalloped bands and decorative bargeboards on the south side gablet. The walls are made of blue brick with Bathstone dressings, including quoins, hood-moulds, and a plinth. The building has mullioned and transomed windows, with an angular bay on the south side. The entrance, located in the angle of the building, is an elaborate structure that includes a Gothic doorway and abutment, blue bricks with stone quoins, and a narrowing octagonal stone base that supports a timber turret topped with a circular leaded fleche.
