Description

These are three cottages located on Lower Broad Street, Ludlow. They were likely originally built in the 17th century and raised and refaced in the late 19th century. The cottages are constructed of brick, with a plain tile roof and brick rear stacks. They are two storeys high, with a two-window front. The windows are casements with cambered lintels, featuring a two-light window above a three-light window arrangement. A central four-panel door leads to a passage, with separate doors leading to numbers 18 and 20. The cottage at the rear left, number 19, is stuccoed and has additional two-light casement windows and a 17th-century moulded brick stack base. It is reputed that the interiors contain timber framing. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
