Description

These are two cottages, numbers 6 and 8, located in Old Chapel Yard, Redenhall with Harleston. The cottages date to the 17th century and are timber-framed with roughcast rendering and a brick plinth. They have a steep pantile roof with gabled ends. The buildings are one storey high with an attic space, and feature two gabled dormers. Later windows are wood mullion/transom casements. The cottages have flush-panelled doors. The roof on the right-hand side is at a slightly higher level, and has a first-floor window with horizontal sliding sash glazing bars. A rebuilt brick chimney stack is also present.
