Description

Selbourne House is a large building from the late 19th century, which has little architectural interest, but features a 17th or 18th century wing at the rear. The older section has plastered timber-framing that is partly faced with brick, and it stands two storeys high with an attic. It includes sash windows with glazing bars, a gabled dormer, and a red brick chimney stack. The late 19th century front is constructed of grey brick, also two storeys tall, with three bays, two splayed bays that are two storeys high, and a central doorcase. The roof is slate with bracketed eaves.
