Description

Nos 1, 3, and 5 in Market Place are probably from the early 18th century. The front features a design that mimics timber-framing, and there is a moulded eaves cornice. The building has a hipped roof covered with black glazed pantiles and stands two storeys tall. On the first floor, there are seven sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has modern double doors for No 1, a large Victorian shop front with console brackets for No 3, and a small modern shop window for No 5.
