Description

A row of three cottages, originally four, dating back to the 17th century. The cottages are timber-framed with brick infill, plastered and whitewashed externally. They have thatched roofs; the left-hand section has a gable, while the right-hand section has a hip, with both ends featuring brick stacks. Originally, each cottage would have been a single unit. The cottages are one storey high with an attic, featuring two eyebrow dormers and a four-window front. They have plank doors, 19th and 20th-century casement windows, the majority with leaded lights. The left-hand cottage shows exposed timber framing. The right-hand cottage includes a later timber-framed outshut. A brick stack and exposed framing are visible at the rear. Inside number 3, there is exposed timber framing and winder stairs. Late 20th-century additions have been made to the rear of numbers 1 and 2.
