Description
Thatch End is a cottage dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered infill, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage has a two-unit plan, is one storey high with an attic, and features two windows on the ground floor. There is a 20th-century door and a 19th-century thatched trellis porch at the left end. The windows have been replaced with late 20th-century metal casements, and there is a small thatched oriel. The left end and rear of the cottage display exposed framing. The interior has not been inspected. To the right, there is a taller mid to late 20th-century addition that is rendered and has a tiled roof.
