Description

Victoria Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the north side of Evesham Road in Salford Priors. The original structure is timber-framed with plastered and whitewashed brick infill. A section on the left, along with the left end of the cottage, has been rebuilt using whitewashed brick and painted imitation timber framing. The roof is thatched and features a brick internal stack. The cottage originally comprised two units. It has one storey and an attic, with two mid-20th century casement windows on the ground floor. A 20th-century door and thatched porch are present on the left side of the cottage and are disused. The interior has not been inspected. A single-storey mid-20th century addition, featuring sham timber framing and a concrete tile roof, extends from the right side of the cottage. A large, flat-roofed, single-storey addition is located at the rear.
