Description

Tadpole Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the south side of Chapel Lane in Mickleton. The facade is positioned at a right angle to the road and features square-panelled timber framing with heavily rendered infill. The roof is thatched and half hipped, with the left end tiled. A central brick stack serves the main body of the cottage, which is two storeys high. There are two dormers under thatched hoods, with a tiled dormer on the left. The windows are modern casements from the 20th century. The entrance is an off-centre left, featuring a 20th-century studded plank door with cover strips. To the far left, there is a one-storey rendered extension.
