Description
Number 3 Nearton End is a 17th-century cottage located in Swanbourne. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill and a plinth at the front, plain brick infill and shingles on the left gable, and a right gable that has been rebuilt in brick. The cottage has a thatched roof and a 17th-century brick chimney positioned to the left of center. It is 1½ storeys tall and consists of two bays.
On the ground floor, there are two leaded casements: a three-light window on the left and a two-light window on the right, along with a single barred wooden casement on the far right. Above the door, there is a single leaded light set below the eaves, and paired barred wooden casements are integrated into the thatch. The central entrance features a flush panelled door within a gabled timber porch that has shaped bargeboards. To the left, there are single-storey extensions made of brick with slate roofs.
