Description

No. 15, Lower Broad Street is a late 18th-century house. It is a symmetrical three-storey and cellar building with a steep-pitched Welsh slate roof and a brick end stack. The front has a three-window range. The windows are metal casements with glazing bars, set under gauged brick segmental arches. Similar windows are located above, and the building has moulded brick modillion eaves. A central part-glazed panelled door is sheltered by a moulded flat hood supported on consoles, and is flanked by windows matching those in the main range. The group value of the building lies in its contribution to the streetscape of Lower Broad Street.
