Description

A group of three cottages, dating from the 17th century. The cottages are timber-framed with painted brick infill and thatched roofs, featuring brick stacks. The cottages are single-storey with an attic, and each originally had two windows. Each cottage has a planked door with a board canopy, and a two-light casement window to the right of the doorways in numbers 63 and 64. The attic has two eyebrow dormers, each with a two-light and a three-light casement window. A brick addition, constructed in an English garden wall bond pattern and without windows, sits on the left hand side. The left return features a lean-to extension with a pantiled roof and two 20th-century casement windows on the first floor. A single-storey extension with a 20th-century casement window is located to the right of number 63. The rear of the cottages includes casement windows. The interior was inaccessible when surveyed in January 1987.
