Description

Spring Cottage is a house with a core dating from the 17th century, restored in the 18th century, and featuring 20th-century alterations. It has a painted roughcast render and a plain tiled roof that is hipped on the west side. The building has two integral lateral brick stacks and a rectangular plan that is angled to the street.

The exterior is two storeys high, with the south front displaying two 3-light casement windows and a single 2-light casement window to the right, all featuring leaded lights. There are 20th-century splayed bays on the ground floor with slate roofs. The entrance includes an 18th-century panelled door with top lights, situated under a trellis porch. At one end, there is a lean-to extension that features a large mullion and transom window set in a stepped parapet wall. The interior has not been inspected.
