Description
The Kitchen Door is an outbuilding, now serving as a shop and kitchen, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped plain tile roof. The building stands three stories tall and has a single-window range, with a 2-light casement window under a segmental arch and another 2-light casement window above it. An oak wall-plate is present. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century stable door also set under a segmental arch. To the right, there is a lean-to that includes a 20th-century 2-light casement window and brickwork on the first floor. Inside, the ground floor retains a large ceiling beam. The rear of the building is rendered and has 19th-century casement windows on the ground, first, and second floors, along with an oak wall-plate. The building is included for its group value.
