Description
No. 4 Quality Square is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the 18th century and has undergone later alterations. The building is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with a brick stack at one end. It stands three stories high and has a two-window range. The first and second floors have 20th-century, two-light leaded casements set under segmental arches, with two blocked openings above. The shopfront, which is also from the 20th century, includes a half-glazed leaded door on the left and a window with glazing bars. At the rear, the building is rendered and rises to four stories, displaying various 20th-century casements beneath cambered heads, and on the third floor, beneath moulded wood eaves.
