Description
No. 3 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop and dwelling. It dates from the 18th century, with an earlier core. The building is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. It stands three stories high and includes a cellar, with a two-window range. The late 19th-century windows are 2/2 sashes set in moulded cases beneath rendered segmental arches, and there is a storey band. The same style of fenestration continues above, with a storey band that has restored brickwork. The early 20th-century shopfront includes a central glazed door. The facade facing Harp Lane is rendered and features storey bands. On the first floor, there is an 18th-century cast-iron two-light window with a casement, along with a 19th-century fixed light in a moulded case within an altered opening. There are two additional windows above to the left, which have cast-iron lights. A 20th-century door is also present.
