PREES C.P. CHURCH STREET SJ 5433-5533 (south side) 14/63 Sundial approx. - 9m south of nave of Church of St. Chad GV II

Sundial. Dated 1824. Sandstone. Vase-shaped baluster with plain moulded capping and plinth on square base. Inscription around capping reads 1824 (George Ore/Samuel Worthen) Church Wardens". Brass plate with gnomon also inscribed with names of churchwardens and "John Callcott Fecit".
