Description

The sun dial, dating from 1783, is located to the south of the Church of Saint Chad in Rochdale. It is made of stone and features a baluster shaft on a circular plinth with nosing. The dial itself is not in place. This sun dial was formerly situated at the site of the current War Memorial and is included in the listing for its group value.
