Description

The statue of Alderman G.L. Ashworth J.P. (1823 - 1873) is located in Broadfield Park, Rochdale. It was erected in 1877 through public subscription. The statue is made of stone and stands on a marble plinth. The plinth is square in shape, featuring a cornice and a cyma moulded base, and it rises from a stylobate.
