Description

This is a 17th-century barn located about 20 metres north of Woodbury Farmhouse. It features a timber-frame construction set on a coursed rubble plinth, with woven infill and partial weatherboarding, all beneath a graduated stone tile roof. The barn is arranged in seven bays, aligned north-west to south-east. There are two threshing floors: one is centrally located in the three northern bays, while the other is centrally placed in the next three bays. The southern bay is likely a late 17th-century addition and is floored. The framing consists of two square panels high. Some repairs were made in the late 19th century.
