Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with some extensions added in the mid-20th century. It features a timber frame with rendered infill sitting on a rubble plinth, topped by a graduated stone tile roof. The cottage has two framed bays oriented east to west, with a gable-end stack on the west side made of rubble and a brick shaft. The north front is one storey with an attic that is illuminated by a gabled dormer. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows, each with plank weatherings. The entrance, located to the left of the centre, has a 20th-century gabled porch, and the ledged and boarded door includes a window cut into it. The framing consists of three square panels high.
