Description

The barn at Home Farmhouse, built between 1783 and 1784, is likely the work of architect Anthony Keck. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped roof covered with graduated stone tiles. The barn consists of five bays, with the center bay slightly projecting and topped by a dentilled pediment. The entrance is designed with a semi-circular arch, while the other bays each have a semi-circular headed recess that contains hit-and-miss ventilation holes. The imposts of these recesses continue as a band across the structure.
