Description
Dawe Lodge is a lodge built in 1801 by John Nash, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a hipped roof covered with graduated stone tiles. The central stack has two diamond-plan shafts that have been rebuilt in brick.
The south front of the building is one storey high with an attic, which is illuminated by two gabled dormers. On this side, there are two 2-light casement windows to the left and a canted bay window with a stone tile roof extending to the left.
The east front contains the entrance, which is framed by a stone porch featuring a two-centred arch with a continuous chamfer. The door is flush panelled and set within chamfered jambs.
