Description

Siege Wood Cottage is a cottage likely dating from the 18th century. It is timber-framed with brick and woven infill, and features a rendered stone stack with a detached shaft to the west. The cottage has two bays aligned roughly east/west. It is one storey with an attic. The south elevation has two windows, early 20th-century two-light casements, one on either side of a central, 19th-century ledged door. A mid-20th-century conservatory is located to the right of the door. The west gable has an attic casement to the right of the stack. A rubble extension exists to the west end, and a weatherboarded extension to the east end, both dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.
