Description
Keepers Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 18th century, with later alterations and an early 20th-century extension. It features a timber frame with brick infill, a Welsh slate roof, and a sandstone rubble end stack with a brick shaft. The early 20th-century extension is made of brick. The cottage consists of two bays that are aligned roughly east to west, with the extension located to the north. It is one storey high with an attic. The south elevation has two ground floor windows, which are mid-20th-century casements, with the right window having three lights. There is a central entryway in a porch. The east gable has an extruded stack and an attic casement. The frame consists of three panels high from the cill to the wall-plate, and the framing is thin. The interior has not been inspected.
