Description
Mere Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the early 18th century. It has a timber-frame construction with plaster infill and a Welsh slate roof, featuring a central brick ridge stack. The building has a rectangular two-bay plan that is aligned north-north-west to south-south-east. It is one storey high with an attic. The west elevation includes two late 20th-century ground floor glazing bar casements, each with three lights, and a central glazed contemporary door. The frame consists of three square panels that extend from the cill to the wall-plate. The east elevation has a large flat-roofed mid-20th-century extension. The interior has not been inspected.
