Description
Green Court Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century, with late 19th century extensions and late 20th century alterations. It features a sandstone rubble plinth and a timber frame with plaster and brick infill, as well as weatherboarding. The roofs are covered with tiles and Welsh slate, and there are brick stacks. The structure consists of two timber-framed bays aligned in a north-east to south-west direction and stands two storeys high. The elevation facing the road has two windows, which are 2-light late 20th century casements. To the left, there is a single-storey late 19th century brick extension that includes two 2-light casements. The timber frame generally consists of three square panels high from the plinth to the wall-plate. The south gable is covered in weatherboarding.
