Description
Little Logaston is a cottage that likely dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It features a sandstone rubble plinth and a timber frame with brick and plaster infill. The roof is made of Welsh slate, and there is a sandstone end stack with a brick shaft. The building has a rectangular two-bay plan that runs roughly north to south and consists of one storey and an attic.
On the east elevation, there is a mid-20th century dormer on the right side. The ground floor has two early 20th century casement windows, each with two lights, positioned on either side of ledged early 20th century doors. The timber frame includes three square panels from the cill to the wall-plate. Inside, the cottage is noted for its heavy ceiling beams.
