Description
Terrace Hall is a farmhouse, now a house, likely dating from the 16th century or early 17th century, with subsequent restoration. It features a timber frame with plaster infill and a tiled roof. The building has three stone external side stacks with brick shafts located to the left, right, and center of the rear. The layout is a longitudinal through-passage plan that runs roughly east to west, with cross-wings at either end. The house is two storeys tall.
The south elevation displays a 1:2:1 window arrangement with late 20th-century casements, a gabled restored timber-framed porch, a filleted ledged door, and a 17th-century door-frame with straight-cut chamfer stops positioned to the right of center. The timber frame consists of four panels high from the cill to the wall-plate. The south-east gable features a jowled corner-post.
