Description

Hurstans is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with an addition made in 1936-1937 and further alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed of rendered sandstone rubble and features a hipped tiled roof. The building has a rectangular plan with a central entrance on the south-west front and two lateral stacks at the rear. It stands two storeys high with attics and cellars. The facade includes three 2-light glazing bar casement windows, a central glazed door from the 20th century, and a bracketed canopy also from the 20th century. There are later additions on the north-west and north-east sides.
