Description

This is a milepost located on the south side of the B 4224 in Upper Buckenhill, Woolhope. It was likely made in the mid-19th century and is constructed from cast iron. The milepost features an angled top with sides that curve down to the shaft. The top and sides are adorned with raised lettering that reads: "WOOLHOPE PARISH TO HEREFORD GLOSTER 8 18 MILES."
