Description

ORLETON CP KINGS ROAD (north side) SO 4967 10/101 Woodcote GV II

House. Late C17, restored late C20. Timber-frame with rendered infill and tile roof. Three framed bays aligned north-west/south-east. Chimney stack between two rear (return) bays with rebuilt brick shaft. South gable to street of two storeys with a 2-light casement on each floor. Entrance in left-hand (south) return front has a gabled tiled porch and C20 panelled door. Lean-to on north side has a C20 lean-to. Framing: four square panels high, the upper panels on gable end each sub-divided by a stud. The truss has five struts below the collar, two struts above and trenched purlins.
