Description

The Barn House is a house dating from the late 17th century, with 20th-century alterations. It features a timber frame with rendered infill panels and brick, topped with a tiled roof and a rear stack. The building has two framed bays that are aligned northeast to southwest and stands two storeys high with a gable-lit attic. The windows are irregularly placed, consisting of two windows: one with two lights and another with four lights, both are 20th-century timber casements. The entrance is located on the left side of the front, accessed through a gabled porch. The framing originally consisted of four square panels high, with both straight and curved tension braces. The northeast gable includes two collars with multiple queen struts.
