Description

The Vicarage is an early 19th-century house, with alterations made in the early 20th century. It is constructed of stuccoed brick with a hipped slate roof. The south front has three storeys and features four windows. These are primarily 16-pane sashes, except for the window to the right of centre, which has twelve panes, and the windows on the second floor, which are smaller. The ground floor includes a 3-light casement to the left and two French casements. A 20th-century panelled door is located centrally, set beneath an overlight, and is sheltered by a canopy with a swept roof supported by trellised wooden posts. A stack is situated at the right-hand corner, making the windows on that side blind. The building is included on the list for its group value.
