Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with some restoration carried out in the late 20th century. It features a timber frame with rendered infill on a coursed rubble ground floor and has a hipped tile roof. The building consists of two framed bays and includes a lateral stack on the north wall. The north front, which faces the street, has two storeys and a small casement window on the left side. The ground floor has a rubble lean-to. The entrance is located in the west gable end and is adorned with a gabled tiled canopy, a wooden architrave, and a ledged and boarded door. The framing on the first floor consists of one square panel high.
