Description

The Rhos is a 17th-century house with later 20th-century alterations. It is a timber-frame structure with rendered infill and a machine tile roof. The house has three framed bays arranged east to west, with a central chimney stack. The east-facing front, which is the street front, is gabled and has a single storey with a three-light casement window in the attic. The ground floor features two 20th-century three-light casement windows. An entrance is located at the east end of the north wall, protected by a half-glazed porch with a gabled tile roof. The timber framing is arranged in three square panels in height, with straight angle braces. The gable-end truss incorporates two struts to the collar, with V-struts in the apex.
