Description
Brick House is a house dated 1728 and restored in the 1980s. It is built of brick on a coursed rubble plinth, with some areas that are partially timber-framed and rendered, all under a tile roof. There is an integral gable-end stack to the west with a brick shaft. The north front, which faces the road, has two storeys above a cellar, with a decorative band on each floor. It features two windows that are 2-light casements set under segmental heads. In the center of the first floor, there is a sandstone block inscribed with "M/ WM/ 1728" within a decorative border, positioned above a carved head. The cellar to the right has a segmental brick head, while the east wall includes another carved sandstone head. The entrance on the south wall features a glazed door, and the first floor is timber-framed.
