Cottage. Probably C18 with earlier origins and later alterations. Sandstone rubble, thatched roof and end stack with brick shaft. Rear off-ridge brick stack. Rectangular plan aligned north-north-east/south- south-west. One storey and attic. East elevation has one mid-C19 casement with two lights set in eyebrow to left. Ground floor has three glazing bar late C19 casements. Between the central and right-hand window is a late C19 ledged door. Rafter-ends have unsquared rustic appearance. West elevation has eyebrow window to left, two small 2-light casements and two ledged doors. Interior noted as having heavy ceiling beams and mid-C19 cast iron range.
